News: abstract submission was extended to April 30

Welcome to the IX Argentinean Congress of Chemical Engineering, CAIQ2017.

The IX Argentinean Congress of Chemical Engineering is a part of a series of conferences organized by the Argentinean Association of Chemical Engineers (AAIQ), with the collaboration of national and international academic, industrial and professional institutions.

Former editions from CAIQ have taken place in Mar del Plata (2010), Rosario (2013), Buenos Aires (2015). CAIQ2017 will be held in Bahía Blanca and is co-organized by PLAPIQUI, a Chemical Engineering Research Institute from the National Research Council (CONICET) and Universidad Nacional del Sur.

The scientific program includes Plenary Conferences, Keynotes, oral and poster presentations, round tables and activities for graduate and undergraduate students.

CAIQ2017, as well as CAIQ2019 in Santa Fe, are preparatory events to the “11th World Congress of Chemical Engineering” (WCCE2021) and the “XXX lnteramerican Congress of Chemical Engineering” (CllQ2021), which will be held in Buenos Aires, in 2021.

Venue

The IX Argentinean Congress of Chemical Engineering, CAIQ2017, will be held within the Scientific and Technologic Center from CONICET, Camino La Carrindanga Km7, Bahía Blanca, Argentina.

The Scientific and Technologic Center is located 20 minutes from downtown Bahía Blanca and 10 minutes away from Bahia Blanca´s airport.

Transportation from the hotels in Bahía Blanca to the congress venue will be available during the conference.
